PACKET & WinPack

Software and where to get it:

WinPack

Recommended by DAREC (Denver Amateur Radio Emergency Communications). WinPack is an amateur radio Personal Mailbox System (PMS) program. WinPack is "Donation ware" and you are asked to make a donation to your local or national cancer agency.

Be sure to fill out a Winpack registration request when you visit the WinPack web site. Don't forget to download Version 6.80 of WinPack and the WinPack Manual.

Software to use when you don't have Packet Radio Equipment

If you don't have Packet Radio equipment but you do have a PC and a sound card then download the freeware version of AGW Packet Engine. UI-View32 readily configures for use with AGWPE.
