OUR YAHOO! GROUPS
(Improved One-to-Many Communications)

The former USNCVA and FRUPAC electronic mailing lists were restricted to plain-text emails only. To respond to members desires, we are migrating our operations to Yahoo Groups to provide expanded capablities.
We have created and configured two groups for our users.
  1. USNCVA group replaces the NCVA REFLECTOR
    All members are encouraged to join the USNCVA group.
  2. FRUPAC group replaces the FRUPAC REFLECTOR
    Members who are Amateur Radio Operators should also join the FRUPAC group.
You will need a Yahoo ID in order to use the new features.
(Note: If you have a Yahoo email address, you have a Yahoo ID. Your Yahoo username is your ID.)

For those without a Yahoo! ID

Creating a Yahoo! ID

  1. If you DO NOT already have a Yahoo! ID you will need to create one. Please read one of the following documents that describes what you will need to do:
  2. Now go to Yahoo! Registration and create your ID.
Write down your Yahoo ID and Password in a safe location!

When you have your Yahoo! ID

When you have your Yahoo ID you are ready to join the appropriate group(s).

Join the USNCVA Group


This group is the replacement for the NCVA REFLECTOR. All U.S. Naval Cryptologic Veterans are encouraged to join this group.

ALL Applicants are required to provide the following information in the "Comment to Owner" data entry box of their application. (Failure to provide the required information is cause for a denied application.)
  1. Your full name and any (nickname).
  2. Your current (or former) rank/rate/designator.
  3. Your current zip code.
  4. Amateur Radio Operators should provide their current call sign.
  5. In whatever space is left, give us a few of the duty stations where you served - we do NOT need the years you were there.

Now fill out the on-line USNCVA group application.

FRUPAC Logo

Join the FRUPAC Group


This group is the replacement for the FRUPAC REFLECTOR. All U.S. Naval Cryptologic Veterans who are Amateur Radio Operators are encouraged to join this group.

  1. Your full name and any (nickname).
  2. Your current zip code.
  3. In the remaining space, tell the instructors how you became interested in amateur radio.

Now fill out the on-line FRUPAC-Tech group application.

FRUPAC-General Logo Join the FRUPAC-General Group

This group is for students and instructors participating in the General Class, Amateur Radio License Preparation course of instruction.
